PERCEPÇÃO DE ESTUDANTES CONCLUDENTES DO ESTÁGIO EM MEDICINA PREVENTIVA E SOCIAL SOBRE SUA FORMAÇÃO: UMA APROXIMAÇÃO AO ESTUDO DO TEMA NA AMAZONIA BRASILEIRA (AMAZONAS)

Resumo

Trata-se da apresentação dos resultados de um estudo piloto para validação de instrumento de coleta de dados de uma pesquisa qualitativa com suporte teórico metodológico da hermenêutica dialética, sobre o tema aprimoramento docente para a formação de médicos que atendam às demandas sociais e de saúde da população que utiliza os serviços de saúde pública, de significativa relevância para o curso de medicina da Universidade Federal do Amazonas. O instrumento em validação precisa coletar dados que possam contribuir para identificar a percepção do estudante concludente do estágio curricular obrigatório sobre sua formação ao longo do curso e com isso fornecer subsídios para avaliar a pertinência dos conteúdos teóricos e práticos ministrados nas diversas disciplinas para a atuação profissional em uma situação social e sanitária real, pois esse é um dos objetivos da pesquisa. O instrumento foi aplicado a vinte e oito estudantes voluntários e concludentes do estágio em Medicina Preventiva e Social desenvolvido totalmente na rede de atenção primária à saúde na capital do Amazonas e em nove municípios do interior. Os resultados mostraram que as principais fragilidades estavam no despreparo para lidar com situações de agravos à saúde mental, gestão do Sistema Único de Saúde, Política Nacional de Atenção Básica e atenção à saúde com enfoque da clínica ampliada e suas ferramentas de abordagem centrada na pessoa, família e comunidade, atenção a populações em vulnerabilidade social e as ribeirinhas. O desafio da escola médica é cumprir sua responsabilidade de promover o aprimoramento docente e este compreender seu novo papel de facilitador e mediador do processo ensino aprendizagem, conforme indicam as novas diretrizes curriculares nacionais para os cursos de graduação em Medicina.

Abstract: This is the presentation of the results of a pilot study to validate a data collection instrument of a qualitative research with theoretical methodological support of dialectical hermeneutics, on the theme of teacher improvement for the formation of physicians who Meet the social and health demands of the population that uses public health services, of significant relevance for the medical course of the Universidade Federal do Amazonas. The instrument in validation needs to collect data that can contribute to identify the student's perception of the mandatory curricular internship about his/her training along the course and to provide subsidies to assess the relevance of Theoretical and practical contents taught in the various disciplines for professional performance in a real social and sanitary situation, because this is one of the objectives of the research. The instrument was applied to twenty-eight volunteer and conclusive students of the internship in preventive and Social medicine developed totally in the primary health care network in the capital of Amazonas and in nine municipalities of the interior. The results showed that the main weaknesses were in the lack of preparedness to deal with situations of mental health problems, management of the unified Health system, national policy of primary care and health care with a focus of the enlarged clinic and its Tools of approach centered on the person, family and community, attention to populations in social vulnerability and the Riverinhas. The challenge of the medical school is to fulfill its responsibility to promote teacher enhancement and to understand its new role as facilitator and mediator of the teaching learning process, as indicated by the new national curriculum guidelines for the courses Degree in medicine.
