Abstract

The school is a social institution in which people's lives intertwine on a daily basis, and contradictions and confrontations arising from the social reality of individuals can foster some conflicts. In this article, we present some data from the research conducted in the project, covering all Regional Education Centers (NRE) in the State of Paraná. The general objective was to develop integrated actions in teaching, research, and extension aimed at continuous training and systematization of the work to be carried out by multidisciplinary teams, Psychologists, and Social Workers, as well as the development of a socio-educational diagnosis. The proposed methodological approach is characterized as both quantitative and qualitative. The presented findings refer to the responses of 2,877 students on the topic of violence, with the majority of students responding that they had not been victims of violence in the school context. Regarding the type of violence experienced, physical characteristics (height and weight) were the most reported. In the final considerations, we highlight the importance of actions to combat bullying and violence by multidisciplinary teams in schools, with a view to the implementation of Law 13.935/2019 in the State of Paraná.
