Characterization of Lusophone production in phenomenological-existential psychology in the 21st century:

a scientometric approach

Abstract

The objective of the article is to present a scientometric review of scientific production, in article format, of Portuguese-speaking production in phenomenological-existential Psychology throughout the 21st century. To this end, we cataloged and analyzed 710 articles produced in this field of knowledge in Portuguese since the year 2000. The cataloging was carried out using the Mendeley software, and the analyzes were generated using the Bibliometrix and VosViewer software. The terms used in the search were phenomenological psychology and phenomenological psychology. The database consulted was Google Scholar. As a result, we found that the Revista da Abordagem Gestáltica was the journal with the greatest contribution in the period studied and Ana Maria Lopes Calvo de Feijoo was the author with the largest number of publications. The most cited author was Adriano Furtado Holanda.
