Critical phenomenology:

paths, possibilities and perspectives

Abstract

Philosophical current originating in the Frankfurt School, at the beginning of the 20th century, with Adorno, Habermas and Marcuse as exponents, seeks to deeply understand and criticize the complexity, intricacy and intricacy of contemporary capitalist society. The objective of this study is to present some of the dimensions of this important philosophical approach and its overlaps with various areas of knowledge. It is exposed from its elaboration as an area of ​​knowledge to the contextualization of some fundamental concepts that demonstrate its grandeur, namely: alienation, ideology, emancipation, rationalization and the political character that permeates this entire theoretical construction. It is concluded that critical phenomenology is a fundamental philosophical approach to understanding the impacts of new technologies and sciences on today's society. Its open and critical dialogue contributes to reflection on the role of humanity in the face of technological advancement, allowing us to question, rethink and reconfigure our relationships with the world in constant transformation.
