Reproductive health of black women in Brazil
between theoretical production and political action

An aspect present in various areas of our daily lives, inequality has been the subject of studies regarding the integral and reproductive health of black women in Brazil. The objective of this Integrative Literature Review seeks to discuss the theoretical parameters and assumptions already published about the various dimensions present in the theme. It is research under the qualitative research bias and articles were searched in several knowledge production platforms, namely: Virtual Health Library, Scielo, PePsic, PsycINF and websites of government programs of the Unified Health System - SUS. Based on the inclusion criteria, 11 productions were selected from a total of 63 articles found. It is concluded that prejudice and discrimination, still very present, according to the studies, can generate, based on effective measures, the expansion of the production of knowledge, training, and permanent education of social actors in the health area, generating equity in terms of health integral and reproductive role of black women in our country.
