EXPERIÊNCIA INTERNA E AUTOCONSCIÊNCIA EM INDIVÍDUO DE ORIENTAÇÃO SEXUAL HOMOAFETIVA: UM ESTUDO DE CASO FENOMENAL
Abstract
The study aimed to comprehensively describe the structure and composition of inner experience and the phenomenal self-awareness of a homosexual male during a self-conscious state. The study was structured as a single case study, using an interview with phenomenological script and control of self-focusing stimuli - the EFEA-V. The interview was recorded on audio e entirely transcribed, being submitted to the thematic analysis according to standard phenomenological methodology. The phenomenal analysis allowed the construction of a fundamental structural definition that captured the essence of self-conscious experience lived by the participant, unveiling a self-conscious state built on complex phenomenology marked by elements: Inner seeing; Inner speech; Self-awareness and self-evaluation process; Feeling; Sensory awareness; and Physical Self and public autofocus. The study provided documentation in the first person of states of self-reflective consciousness, laying the foundations of a propositive research agenda to study this phenomenon at the interface of cognition and homosexualities.
