Abstract

ABSTRACT

This research intends to propose one didact sequence for the learning of African Portuguese Language Literature at College. So, in the light of the law 10.639/03 that determines the teaching of African Literature and Afro-Brazilien Literatures in Portuguese Language, we seek to address the theme of  teaching African Literatures in Portuguese Languages through literary reading with the book Avódezanove e o Segredo do Soviético, by Ondjaki. Such an approach is importante in the direction of breaking away from segregating and reductionist views in relation to African Culture. We understand the relevant role of literature in the classroom as an instrument of humanization and cultural democratization. For this reasn, the literary text in African Literature classes contributes to a broader understanding of the realities, of the subjects that envolve it, awakening identity, as well as human values.
