LINDES DISCIPLINARES DA TEORIA DA RESIDUALIDADE

Abstract

This article aims to indicate the bounds, that is, the scientific constraints of Theory of Residuality. We intend to explain that such theory has border makers and not theoretical guards. Therefore we give evidence that this theory works on its own ground and is supported by an “insight” that serves primarily to the analysis of Brazilian works, needing no theoretical pillows apart from our reality. The main related bounds are History (especially Mentalities), Sociology, Philosophy, Aesthetics, Anthropology, Ethnology, Chemistry, Geology, Crystallography, among other bordering sciences. This article also emphasizes the previous use of the terms residue, crystallization, and endoculturation, which compound the theory concept, also referring to the author's article entitled "Conceptual Early Writings of Theory of Residuality", in which the issue is studied in a rather deeper way.
