The following study aims to analyze jaguar’s fable-like representation amongst the Romance d’A Pedra do Reino e o Principe do Sangue do vai-e-volta, Ariano Suassuna’s works, in order to understand the symbolic field subsequent to the metamorphosis, and how the Quaderna games were shaded by contamination, by the residue, by the permanence of an Amerindian perspectivist mentality in the narrator's ethos and central character of this work. Defending its clothing, attitudes and gestures, its constitution and its cunning are not made up by spirit deformity, but by markers of teriomorphic corporeality position it occupies within the plot, in changing conditions of not being, and rather, being in the trophic chain of this cosmogonic discourse in the northeastern sertão.
