ABSTRACT

The new ocean liner she was launched on June 7th, 1907, here it was starting a new lucrative business, Lusitania she was the first ship of her class to be launched, her sister Mauretania she’d be launched three months later, during this time Lusitania she’ll be fitting out, until September 7th, 1907, when she’ll be making her maiden voyage from Liverpool to New York. But before she makes her maiden voyage, she’ll be making her sea trials, on July 29th, 1907, when it was noticed greats vibrations on her stern, especially on her 2nd Class Promenade deck. This part it was needed to be made again because of the high vibrations of her engines room and her powerful turbines.

RESUMO

O novo transatlântico foi lançado em 7 de junho de 1907, aqui estava iniciando um novo negócio lucrativo, Lusitânia foi o primeiro navio de sua classe a ser lançado, seu irmão Mauritânia seria lançado três meses depois, durante esse período Lusitânia ela vai se equipar, até 7 de setembro de 1907, quando fará sua viagem inaugural de Liverpool a Nova York. Mas antes de fazer sua viagem inaugural, estará fazendo suas provas de mar, em 29 de julho de 1907, quando notaram grandes vibrações em sua popa, principalmente no convés Promenade de 2ª classe. Essa parte precisou ser feita novamente por causa das altas vibrações de sua casa de máquinas e de suas potentes turbinas.
