PHYSICS CLASS MATERIALIZED IN SUPERVISED INTERNSHIP NARRATIVES OF FUTURE PHYSICS TEACHERS

ABSTRACT: To think of the primary school as a priority place for the internship and the locus of teacher education is to reflect on the importance of this space in the constitution of the teaching identity and in the exercise of the profession. At the same time, it refers to the responsibility of internship disciplines and projects involving undergraduates in teacher training courses. What drives this study is the search to understand what happens in the situations of conducting the supervised internship of physics graduates in contact with physics classes of a public school. That is, what meanings emerge from the narrative analysis of future physics teachers regarding the teaching of physics that is developed in a public school? The research is qualitative in nature and took place within the scope of Supervised Internship I, a Physics Degree course, in which seven undergraduates were enrolled. All the experience provided by the intern was narrated in a situation of observation, monitoring, projects, among others. The narratives were part of the internship report, which was used as the corpus of the present analysis. For data analysis we used Michel Pecheux's French Discourse Analysis framework published in Brazil by Eni Orlandi. The results show that, through the student's discourse, materialized in the internship narrative, this goes beyond an internship agreement, the fulfillment of internship hours, but how the University-School partnership is taking place, which when effective provides opportunities for both initial and continuing training to take place; that the trainee experiences many situations that dialogue with numerous functions that the teacher may perform in the exercise of the profession, which exceed the limit of disciplinary knowledge, as reported here: social and family contexts of students and structure and organization of the school and its relationship with the classroom. In this sense, knowing how to deal with situations such as this are not at issue in its formation, in the curriculum directly, but go through it providing theories that can and should be sought when dialoguing with practice exercising the necessary teaching praxis.
