ORIGEM E FORMAÇÃO DE CURUÇÁ-PA: IMPLICAÇÕES PARA A CONSTITUIÇÃO DO LÉXICO CURUÇAENSE

Resumo

Este estudo apresenta uma breve discussão sobre a história da formação e origem do município de Curuçá com o fim de refletir sobre o contato de povos na constituição do lugar, essa discussão faz parte de um estudo mais amplo que consiste em: fazer um levantamento dos itens lexicais que constituem o vocabulário linguístico de Curuçá; analisar os dados a partir de consultas a dicionários, glossários, para a identificação da procedência das palavras; relacionar a constituição do léxico em Curuçá, com os aspectos linguísticos e culturais que marcaram o lugar. Para fundamentação teórica, nos valemos de Biderman (1984), para os estudos das ciências do léxico, Calvet (2002), Bagno (2011) e Mollica (2003) para a compreensão dos pressupostos da Sociolinguística Variacionista. A metodologia constitui-se num plano de coleta de dados obtidos em pesquisa de campo, utilizando a técnica de entrevistas semi-estruturadas, documentadas em arquivos de áudio por meio da gravação digital e organizados por meio de fichas socioculturais dos sujeitos, os quais foram selecionados de acordo com variáveis sociais, como faixa etária, procedência, familiaridade e permanência na localidade. A pesquisa, em andamento visa encontrar marcas do contato entre povos na formação do lugar, com evidências nos itens lexicais dos campos lexicais da toponímia, da pesca, de expressões idiomáticas, entre outros campos lexicais já identificados.

ABSTRACT: This study presents a brief discussion about the history of the formation and origin of the municipality of Curuçá in order to reflect on the contact of people in the constitution of the place, this discussion is part of a larger study that consists of: to make a survey of the lexical items that constitute the linguistic vocabulary of Curuçá; analyze the data from queries to dictionaries, glossaries, to identify the origin of words; to relate the constitution of the lexicon in Curuçá, with the linguistic and cultural aspects that marked the place. For theoretical reasons, we use Biderman (1984) for the lexical sciences studies, Calvet (2002), Bagno (2011) and Mollica (2003) to understand the assumptions of Variationist Sociolinguistics. The methodology is a plan of data collection obtained in field research, using the technique of semi-structured interviews, documented in audio files through digital recording and organized through socio-cultural fiches of the subjects, which were selected according to social variables, such as age, origin, familiarity and permanence in the locality. The research, in progress, aims to find marks of the contact between people in the formation of the place, with evidences in the lexical items of the lexical fields of the toponymy, of the fishing, of idiomatic expressions, among other already identified lexical fields.
