O USO DE QUADRINHOS COMO FERRAMENTA MOTIVACIONAL PARA O ENSINO DE FÍSICA NO ENSINO MÉDIO
Resumo
O grande desafio do professor é garantir que o ensino de física deva focar na aprendizagem significativa do aluno, fazendo com que ele leve esse conhecimento para a sua vida, de maneira que seja evitada a mecanização do ensino de forma puramente matemática em detrimento do aspecto fenomenológico. Conforme a teoria da autodeterminação uma das maneiras de se atingir esse objetivo, é utilizar de métodos de ensino que garantam a aprendizagem significativa, motivando intrinsecamente os alunos. O uso de quadrinhos científicos no ensino de física, tem se mostrado uma importante ferramenta para motivação dos alunos, além de nivelá-los diante dos seus diferentes níveis de cognição. Com esta finalidade, buscou-se com este trabalho, utilizar da leitura e elaboração de quadrinhos científicos em 7 turmas do primeiro ano do ensino médio envolvendo 195 alunos de uma escola da rede pública de Palmas-TO. Para constatar o êxito da metodologia aplicada, elaborou-se um questionário binário para verificação do nível de orientação motivacional dos alunos. Por meio de uma análise fatorial multivariada do questionário, pôde-se concluir que para os sujeitos da pesquisa, os quadrinhos científicos foram fundamentais em despertar a motivação intrínseca da maioria dos alunos.

ABSTRACT: The great challenge of the teacher is to ensure that physics teaching should focus on meaningful student learning, so that it brings this knowledge into its life, so that mechanization of teaching is avoided in a purely mathematical way, to the detriment of phenomenological aspect. According to the theory of self-determination one of the ways to achieve this goal is to use teaching methods that guarantee meaningful learning, intrinsically motivating students. The use of scientific comics in physics teaching has proved to be an important tool for students motivation, in addition to leveling them with their different levels of cognition. With this purpose, we sought to use the reading and elaboration of scientific comics in 7 classes of the first year of high school involving 195 students from a public school in Palmas-TO. To verify the success of the applied methodology, a binary questionnaire was developed to verify the level of motivational orientation of the students. Through a multivariate factorial analysis of the questionnaire, it was possible to conclude that for the subjects of the research, the scientific comics were fundamental in awakening the intrinsic motivation of the majority of the students.
