A ATUAÇÃO DE PSICÓLOGOS DE INSTITUIÇÕES FEDERAIS DE EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR DE MINAS GERAIS: UM ESTUDO DESCRITIVO

Resumo

Esta pesquisa objetivou caracterizar a atuação de Psicólogos de Instituições Federais (IFES) de Educação Superior de Minas Gerais.  A população-alvo foi constituída pelos Psicólogos (Técnicos Administrativos em Educação Superior - TAES)  atuantes em Instituições Federais de Educação Superior Mineiras (IFES-MG) das seguintes instituições: Universidades Federais (UFs), Institutos Federais (IFs) e Centros Federais de Educação Tecnológica (CEFETs). O Instrumento utilizado foi Questionário de Identificação/categorização dos participantes, distribuído em quatro eixos: 1. Identificação, 2. Formação, 3. Vínculo institucional e 4. Atuação. Como recurso material utilizou-se computador com acesso à internet para a realização da pesquisa (que ocorreu de forma online), além de telefone para estabelecer contato com os participantes. Os resultados dessa pesquisa evidenciaram que o psicólogo atuante em IFES de Minas está gradativamente saindo de uma vertente de atuação exclusivamente clínica e individual e adotando também intervenções preventivas e grupais, conforme sugere a literatura científica da área.

Abstract: This research objected to characterize the performance of Psychologists of Federal Institutions (IFES) of Higher Education of Minas Gerais. The target population consisted of the Psychologists (Administrative Technicians in Higher Education - TAES) working in Federal Institutions of Higher Education of Minas Gerais (IFES-MG) of the following institutions: Federal Universities (UFs), Federal Institutes (IFs) and Federal Centers of Education Technology (CEFETs). The instrument used was a Questionnaire of Identification / categorization of the participants, distributed in four axes: 1. Identification, 2. Training, 3. Institutional Link and 4.Performance. As a material resource, a computer with internet access was used to conduct the research (which occurred online), as well as a telephone to establish contact with the participants. The results of this research evidenced that the psychologist active in IFES of Minas Gerais is gradually coming out of an exclusively clinical and individual practice and also adopting preventive and group interventions, as suggested by the scientific literature of the area.
