“E FOI ASSIM QUE ÁDRIAZINHA VEIO AO MUNDO...”: GÊNERO E REPRESENTAÇÃO FEMININA EM A MULHER DO GARIMPO, DE NENÊ MACAGGI
Abstract
ABSTRACT: Based on the novel narrative by writer Nenê Macaggi, in her work A Mulher do Garimpo (1976), this paper seeks to present how the aforementioned text can contribute to the discussion of the processes of construction of female identity based on the experiences of the character Ádria. By starring traveling and marginalized characters, Nenê Macaggi's literary writing unveils the intimacy of social impacts on female bodies. From the research carried out, we could see that social impositions, as well as patriarchy, still perpetuate the same practices of the past, and that Literature helps to break these rites of silence. Through bibliographical research, whose method refers to the analysis of the work A Mulher do Garimpo, by Nenê Macaggi, the studies carried out by Butler (2006), Spivak (2010), Almada (2017), Saffioti (1976), and others.
