//periodicos.ufam.edu.br/index.php/ufambr/article/view/16264

The present study discusses the importance of risk management within an innovation context represented by the development of digital product projects (infoproducts) and, in this sense, proposes a categorization of risks and, consequently, a format for hierarchizing associated risk indicators to these products. The research is characterized as descriptive, based on a quantitative and qualitative approach, using the AHP (Hierarchical Process Analysis) methodology, determining the percentage importance of each risk indicator. The results suggest the adaptability and potential of AHP in managing risks among a list of possible alternatives for product portfolio development, as well as suggesting its ability to interpret underestimation or overestimation of associated risks.
Claudelino Martins Dias JuniorGilberto Luiz de Souza PaulaRafaela OpptizNestor Roqueiro

//periodicos.ufam.edu.br/index.php/ufambr/article/view/16233

Since the pandemic, there has been a significant increase in the number of digital entrepreneurs. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the point of view of current digital entrepreneurs and undergraduate students in business administration at a higher education institution about working in a virtual environment. Regarding the methodological aspects, interviews were conducted with digital entrepreneurs and a questionnaire was applied to the students to compare the expectations and reality of managing their own business on social media. This research is characterized as quantitative and qualitative because statistical and content analyses were performed based on the data collected. One of the results generated shows that, in the view of students, it is necessary to create a unique strategy for their own business, while for professionals it is important to adapt the strategy according to the social network to be used. Thus, it is concluded that to pursue a career in digital entrepreneurship, it is necessary to know how to deal with changes, know your work environment, master technology, be aware of criticism, have an understanding of human behavior, have the courage to create experiences and acquire know-how.
Ana Caroline Santana de CarvalhoJorge Yoshio Kanda

//periodicos.ufam.edu.br/index.php/ufambr/article/view/15879

The COVID-19 pandemic, which in early 2020 led the world into a devastation, brought with it a series of challenges and significant changes that humanity needed to adapt to. Among the impacted areas, the global Supply Chain had a solid remark. The aim of this paper is to analyze the international logistic scenario from the Amazon region’s perspective with regards to the impacts inflicted either on the inbound and outbound shipments in the international logistic chain at the Manaus Industrial Pole, as well as to describe how it behave before the social distance protocols (lockdowns), since noticing the sudden change of habit caused by the pandemic crisis at several social spheres created obstacles that were very hard to overcome. Nonetheless, in the Supply chain scope, the literature proposes ways that the companies can take in order to make these obstacles less harmful in their processes. Thus, it was sought to examine what were the technological impacts and resilient measures to outwork the pandemic crisis. The method that made this evaluation possible was a multi-case study in a few companies located at the Manaus Industrial Pole, through a qualitative survey regarding the awareness of the logistic professionals during the lockdown, which provided a realistic scenario showing these companies’ adapting potential.
Antônio Giovanni Figliuolo UchôaJonnathas Barroso da Silva

//periodicos.ufam.edu.br/index.php/ufambr/article/view/15451

This study investigates the application of the ABC Curve tool in the inventory management of a Nerd/Geek products wholesale company located in Castanhal-PA, Brazil, aiming to evaluate its importance as support for managerial decision-making. The research is based on inventory management theory and the application of the Pareto Principle, adapting the ABC Curve methodology to classify products according to their relevance in annual sales. The study analyzes sales data from 2023, categorizing products into classes A, B, and C, to identify items with the greatest financial impact. The results aim to provide practical insights for inventory optimization, enabling more efficient allocation of resources and cost reduction. The originality of the work lies in the application of the ABC Curve in a niche market in the Amazon region, offering theoretical and methodological contributions to companies operating in similar contexts. It is expected that the research will assist managers in making strategic decisions, promoting more efficient inventory management tailored to the specificities of the Nerd/Geek sector.
Hinton Bentes
