Abstract: Today, and in any situation, it is clear that knowledge has become one of the main factors in solving social adversities, creating self-employment and propagating know-how. This situation has repercussions not only on the current economic-political system, but also on the SNE. Today, the sovereignty of the countries undergoes a new perception of the world, where well-being, effectively depends on knowledge, and scientific-pedagogical development. It means the trainers and the trainees need different postures, which starts in the first place by the educational rethink. Based on the background of the current echoes of the Vocational Education Reform (REP) carried out in the past years in Mozambique, this paper intends to identify and describe likely emerging strategies that have an impact not only on standards-based learning but also in training the trainers of vocational education institutions and in particular to verify how these are being appropriated by the training institutions in Mozambique. The sample consisted of a methodological study of a mixed but predominantly qualitative character, carried out in the first semester of 2018, with the students of the 4th year of Farming, in the didactic course. Starting from a succinct revision of the literature that deals with the subject and contributes to a change of position in the face of a subject that is currently much discussed and imposed in all segments of society in an abrupt way, but changing cultures and procedure at work, some of the recent emerging strategies that contribute to the pedagogical practice of trainers in the classroom. Surveys and observations were applied to trainers of PE and to students of the 4th year of Agricultural Engineering of the Pedagogical University, Lhanguene Campus, to ascertain, (i) with what emerging strategies teachers rely on different areas of knowledge and their professional work, and (ii) what was the students' perception of the classes mediated by the emerging strategies. The results show that after many years of their pedagogical practice, the integration of emergent strategies in the classroom promotes the necessary changes to make the class more effective, thus contributing to the improvement of education, both in Professional Education (PE), but also in Higher Education (ES). In general, we find in the research, that there are more and more trainers / teachers who look with methodological resources as sources of their knowledge expansion and also as a topic of discussion, considering the implications of their impact on teaching.
